Privacy Policy

FamChamp helps people set up personalized workout routines for themselves and the people they care about. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
• Fitness details you share. Answers to the intake questions, such as fitness level, available equipment, goals, and any physical limitations or mobility notes you choose to give us.
• Workout activity. Workouts you start and complete, exercises you swap, and the progress and streaks built from that activity.
• Invites and messages. When a champion invites someone, the invitee's name, email, nickname, and any message the champion writes.
• Basic technical data. Cookies needed to keep you signed in, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider.

How we use it

• To create and adjust your workout plans.
• To show your progress, and to show your champion how you're doing.
• To send sign-in links, invites, reminders, and weekly summaries by email.
• To keep the app secure and working properly.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Services we rely on

We share information only with the providers that run FamChamp for us:

• Supabase stores our database and handles sign-in.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Resend sends our emails.
• Anthropic provides the AI that writes workout plans. We send it the fitness details needed to build a plan, not your email address.
• Google handles "Sign in with Google" if you choose it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing famchampapp@gmail.com. We keep your information while your account is active. When you ask us to delete it, we permanently delete your account, your personal details, and your workout history. General workout plans and exercises that contain nothing about you may be kept to help build plans for others.

Children

FamChamp is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
